Back for its fourth outing after being forced to take a couple of years off in part due to the COVID pandemic, The Laver Cup 2021 is now underway and we have yet another tennis tournament to get addicted to.
The Laver Cup 2021 has been likened to the Ryder Cup of tennis and takes place over three days. Team Europe will be looking to build on their already impressive winning streak after claiming four successive titles - the pressure's definitely on then.
The tournament is based in Boston, Massachusetts, and is broadcast live on Eurosport as they battle it out for victory.

As for how it works, well, we get nine singles matches and three doubles matches which they take place over three days of tennis-filled action. Winners get one point per match during the first day of the tournament and the points increase each day with Day 3 matches being worth three points each. The first team to 13 points wins the Laver Cup.
Each player can only feature in a maximum of two singles matches, with at least four players from each team taking part in the doubles matches.

The tournament is a three-day men's team event that does not count towards ATP rankings, but does come with generous prize money offerings and a fresh 'team' style of tennis. It's named after Australian tennis legend Rod Laver.
